ICANN's authority extended

ICANN's authority over internet names and numbers has been extended to 2011.

There has been some complaining that the UN should oversee this instead of an American corporation. However, the fact that the most recent UN meeting about this was in Tunisia (one of the complaining countries) which is known to severely restrict free speech, is a good picture of what's wrong with the UN.
